Set up your Hypertrade One account
When enabled for your account, create a self-custodial Hyperliquid trading account and grant a separate trade-only permission without copying a private key.
Hypertrade One separates ownership from trading permission. Your owner wallet controls withdrawals. A separate agent may place and cancel Hyperliquid orders, but it cannot withdraw. Hypertrade One never asks you to paste a private key or recovery phrase. Real-funds onboarding appears only when the current account and signer capabilities are enabled.
- 1
Check current availability
Open onboarding. Choose Real funds only when the card is enabled. If it is unavailable, the page names the rollout blocker and keeps Practice plus existing-account Advanced setup available.
- 2
Create your trading account
Hypertrade creates a user-owned embedded wallet through the configured wallet provider. The provider stores the owner credential under your authenticated identity. Hypertrade stores only the public address and opaque provider references.
- 3
Grant trading permission
Read the permission disclosure and confirm once. Hypertrade creates a separate provider-backed signer, submits the Hyperliquid agent approval with your authorization, and activates it only after the venue confirms the public agent address.
- 4
Choose a risk style
Select Chill, Normal, Aggressive, or Extreme and confirm the leverage risk. The risk profile remains independent from wallet custody.
- 5
Add funds
Open Settings → Wallet to view Trading Balance and available funding routes. A live funding receipt shows source, route, fees, destination, and settlement status.
Existing Hyperliquid account
Existing accounts remain under Advanced account setup and are never migrated or given a replacement permission automatically. Verified external-wallet registration will be offered only after its browser owner-approval capability is enabled. The current compatibility flow may accept a trade-only legacy agent key, but never an owner key or recovery phrase.
Security properties
- No key copy and paste in Hypertrade One. Requests containing private-key or recovery fields are rejected.
- Venue verification. An agent is not active until Hyperliquid reports it as valid for the owner address.
- Provider-backed signing. New agent rows store an opaque signer reference and public address, never raw key material.
- Serialized signing. One database-backed nonce lease coordinates each secure signer across web and worker processes.
- Revocable and rotatable. A named agent is replaced at the venue, and Hypertrade finalizes only after the old address is no longer valid.
